Ramapo Manor had a wonderful time during National Nursing Home Week. The residents and employees enjoyed all of the activities that we prepared for them. On Monday, we had a Volley Ball Tournament for the residents which they thoroughly enjoyed. On Tuesday, we hosted Arts and Crafts for our residents; they made beautiful necklaces along with other items. Ramapo also hosted an Ice Cream Social for everyone in the building on Wednesday. We celebrated our employees during an appreciation party on Thursday; this was a great way to say thank you for all of the hard work that our employees do on a daily basis. The gifts were a big success which everyone seemed to enjoy. On Friday, we finished off this fabulous week with a treasure hunt for all of the residents. We handed out a list of clues for the residents and they searched the community head to toe for the gifts that were hidden. Everyone had a smile on their face all week and it was so special to see.
