Laura St. Louis

Laura has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science and a Master’s in Psychology, where she was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society and Tau Upsilon Alpha Honor Society. She worked in healthcare for two-plus years in an office setting in internal medicine as a CMA and volunteered as an EMT for over a decade. Growing up, her mother worked as a CNA in a nursing home in New Jersey, where she and her sister volunteered in their dayroom alongside the Recreational Department. They would read newspapers, socialize, and engage in various activities with the residents. Volunteering paved the way for Laura to want to work in the healthcare field as a whole, the ability to help those who needed it was a humbling experience. Laura says, “Honestly, there are too many favorite parts of my job to choose from. What I can say is one of my favorites is seeing our residents and their families smiling faces in our community. I know I'm here to continue to make a positive, uplifting difference in their stay at The Willows at Ramapo. In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending it with her son and their dog, Coco. They go on occasional bike rides, hikes, and random adventurous journeys.
