Katie Foulk, CDES, MS

Katie received a Master of Science in Art Therapy from The College of New Rochelle and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Western Michigan University. She has been working with the senior population for 29 years, 24 of which have been as a Recreation Director. She chose this career during two short years as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where I was in awe of the respect and care given to the elderly in Africa. She wanted to be able to provide a culture where our elderly received the respect they earned and deserved through their interactions in the Nursing Home environment. Her favorite part of the job is making the lives of the residents more enjoyable. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, paddleboarding, and spending time with her family. Her goals are to make the Residents she interacts with happy and fulfilled in the things that they like most.
